How to play Flip Match
Face-down cards. First match in a category locks that pick. Shared option bank. Categories this game uses: food, activity, game, entertainment. Do not fork a list.
Don't plan the date. Play for it. You don't have to agree on a plan. Just agree to play.
Start
- Pick a mode: Zero Thought (schema defaults, skip edit), Make It Ours (defaults loaded, replace any slot), or Blank Slate (empty lists — does not silently refill defaults).
- Each category is authored with five options: food, activity, game, entertainment. You need exactly five live options in every category this game uses or you do not start.
The ritual
- Each category is ten face-down cards: five pairs.
- Take turns flipping two. First match in a category locks that option.
- Four first-matches. That is tonight.
Digital is flip-two on ten cards per category. Print is paper cards. Same first match, same winners. Say 1–5 if you skip the flips. That is the real a11y path. Deterministic. No random.
